Dr. Sonia Gi is a New Jersey native. She attended Rutgers University- School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with pre-veterinary research. She was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine after attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gi is USDA-accredited, a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New York State Veterinary Medical Society.

Dr. Gi’s veterinary interests are preventative medicine, surgery, and dentistry. She loves to travel when she can, explore parts of the city and hang out with her Caribbean dog, Jack (who is shown in photo with her).
